Q: What is the primary language used for lectures and communication?A: The main language for all lectures and general communication among adults will be English. For activities specifically involving children, the primary languages used will be German or French.

Q: If I select all contribution options, am I required to help in every area?A: No. The contribution section is purely voluntary and is used only to gauge your general areas of interest. Selecting multiple options simply signals you are open to helping across those areas; you will not be held accountable for every selection.

🏠 Site Policies & Registration

Q: Are pets allowed on the workshop premises?A: Due to site restrictions, no pets are allowed on the workshop premises.
Q: Do I get a family room if I selected that option during registration?A: A family room is not guaranteed due to the limited number of rooms available on the site. We will assign rooms on a first-come, first-served basis and prioritize families with small children.
Q: When is my registration considered confirmed?A: Your registration is only considered complete and confirmed upon receipt of full payment. You have 30 days from the date of registration to submit your payment. If payment is not received within this period, your registration will be automatically cancelled.
Q: What are the accommodation policies?A: All participants must adhere to the house rules set by the property owner.
Q: What is the policy regarding photos and videos?A: Workshop organizers may capture photos and videos for internal documentation and possible sharing. Participant-taken photos/videos are at their own risk.
Q: Should I inform the organizers about my health conditions?A: Yes. Participants are responsible for informing organizers of any relevant health considerations or conditions.

Q: Will food be provided at the workshop?A: Yes, registration includes all meals (typically from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch). Snacks and hot beverages will also be available during breaks.

💰 Pricing, Inclusions, & Activities

Q: What does the registration fee include?A: The fee includes your accommodation, all meals provided during the workshop, and all internal activities (sessions, lectures, crafting, and other scheduled indoor events).
Q: What is NOT included in the price?A: Specialized outdoor activities or entertainment like ice skating, bowling, skiing, or bouldering are not included in the workshop price. These are optional and will be at the participants’ own cost.
Q: Where can I find pricing for local winter sports?A: For your convenience, here are links to check the current local prices for lift passes and sledging:

Q: Do you provide ski/skate equipment?A: No. We do not provide specialized equipment such as ice skating shoes or ski boards/boots. If you plan to participate, you must bring your own gear or plan to rent equipment locally.
Q: Where can I rent equipment nearby?A: Local rental places are available in Wildhaus and the surrounding Toggenburg area for skiing, sledging, and potentially ice skates. We recommend checking with local providers like Sportbahnen Wildhaus or other regional sports shops.
Q: What outdoor clothing should we bring?A: It is strongly advised that all participants bring appropriate snow suits or warm, waterproof, layered clothing for outdoor time.
